Our program helps college students by way of schooling, counseling, and implementing prevention programs on campus. The program develops youths via drug education, leadership and character growth, constructive function model mentoring, and group outreach to boost the standard of life for military personnel and their households. Through utility of the DEFY curriculum, this system strengthens protecting factors in youth and households and reduces those danger factors recognized with substance abuse, gang involvement, and crime. By strengthening families through encouragement and growth of optimistic life skills in youth, Navy and Marine Corps members are better in a position to concentrate on their mission and ultimately help ensure mission accomplishment.
